Large Seaside New Build

A large new build house on the south coast with stunning views down the full extent of the Solent to the Spinnaker Tower at the eastern end. The brief was to design a large open kitchen for a large extended family, able to take advantage of the views.

Green Oak Extension

Green Oak Extension Green Oak Extension Green Oak Extension

A green oak extension to an old village school in a Wiltshire village. The brief was for a light and airy kitchen for casual entertaining at weekends. We had to keep the style simple but it had to blend in with the old cottage and the new green oak extension. The utility room had to house boiler and all laundry facilities while creating enough space to incorporate a new shower room. We were also able to help this client with under stairs storage for books.

Thatched Country Cottage

A thatched cottage in a Hampshire village. The brief was to give a cosy, clean and stylish kitchen to create space in a small environment using painted and oak finishes. The design had to be practical for one person to work efficiently while giving space for others to be in the room. The utility room had to house all laundry appliances and provide room for coats and a seating area for putting on gum boots. The style had to fit in with the rest of the kitchen as this was the main entrance used by family and guests alike.

Countryside New Build

A new build country home in the Dorset countryside commanding spectacular views from its large windows. The brief was to give a feeling of space in this light and airy room for family living. The island played a big part in allowing working and seating without interrupting the stunning views across the valley. We also had a hand in many other rooms in the house including the study, archive room, boot room, utility room and a free standing piece for the drawing room to house books and a built in fridge for entertaining.

Large Modern New Build

The brief was to create a modern kitchen with traditional construction to give a clean look to work in with a very exciting new lighting system. We achieved this with clean modern lines to the furniture and a ‘shark’s nose’ edging to the work surface to give the appearance of a very thin line while maintaining substance. The island was critical in fitting in with the ceiling lighting.

Small Cottage Renovation

The brief was to create a small and unobtrusive kitchen to fit into the kitchen/dining room so as to be free standing but fitted. The client wanted to make a statement with colours while also being able to accommodate small gatherings for lunch and dinner.

The brief was to give family entertaining in one room based round a large island over looking the pool. This was a long project to include, not only the kitchen, but also a bathroom, the external timber structure with long sliding, concertina doors to the pool side and a bridge to cross the stream in the garden.
